Our Williams Well outing went well and was challenging due
to the weather.
The first few days was a combination of high winds, rain and cold weather, a
quick change from the Monday the same week which was 110 degrees with 50+
mph winds. Finally by Saturday, the weather was getting a little better,
warmer
and with all the folks showing up, turned out to be a lot of fun. The pot
luck
dinner on Saturday had a lot of different foods offered, everyone packing
their plates full. Sunday we had a bingo game and two gold nuggets were
the grand prize. We all enjoyed dry washing with our friends and best of
all
we found a little color which is always nice. Hey, if you don't find any,
its
still fun getting the exercise and fresh air. The desert just can't be
beat...
Sunday was beautiful, followed by a couple of more days to some of the best
weather I have seen in the desert. Tough as it was, we had to go home
Tuesday.
